About
I’m Bradley Lewis, studying at Newcastle for a Ba Honours in Contemporary and Popular Music. This blog page has been set up for the ‘Composing for Spaces and Places’ module, and will follow my progress in composition and field recording for the upcoming assignments and performance at The Great North Museum.

I’ve been composing, recording and performing music since I was about 13, first learning to play bass guitar and then deciding I wanted to learn everything else in order to record my own solo music. I joined a band called ‘Revolve’ in 2023, and have been working on releasing an EP with them since then.
It was my previous history of composing music, songwriting and performances with Revolve that allowed me a space on the course, as I transferred from a Biomedical Sciences Integrated Masters. Through this module and subsequent composition modules, I aim to better my composition and songwriting skills in order to write and perform with high-callibre musicians in the future.
I don’t really know why I’m writing all this I just thought an about page would be fun!
